Matt's Mission
Recently, I lost a very close friend due to drugs. Sean Matthew Koch passed away peacefully, February 6, 2012 from a heroin overdose. Matt was an amazing man who loved and lived his life vivaciously. From the moment Matthew entered this life until his final breath he boldly blazed his own trail. He was fearless, determined, strong and deeply devoted to everyone he knew. Matt loved as he lived.
One of Matt's missions was to create awareness on the dangers and effects of drugs. Unfortunately, he never got the opportunity to reach out to kids in the local schools to tell his story and how they effected his life. His friends and family are taking this opportunity to carry out his mission.
Drug addiction is a preventable disease. Education and outreach are key in helping youth and the general public understand the risks of drug abuse. If you or someone you know is suffering from addiction, call 1-800-662-HELP or visit www.samhsa.gov/treatment for more information.

Chapter One
My name is Sarah, I am 23 years old and I am currently in college studying Fashion & Retail Management. I work full time at Frederick Family Chiropractic where I am also studying to become a certified Chiropractic Technologist. I enjoy both and find it valuable to be well rounded.
